Jay and Parris are back, and we're here with Episode 13 of Remember When!
And we hope you're settled in for a long winter's night, because we've got a doozy of a show. With as important as the final prequel film is, we're skipping our normal segments and focusing entirely on Revenge of the Sith. After all, there's a lot we need to discuss.
We talk about the many lost opportunities presented by Episode III (Hello, General Grevious), the awesome moments that sent us into a fanboy high, and the areas that just left us scratching our heads. We talk about the questionable dialog, the inconsistent plot points, the lack of direction, and the failed attempts at romantic subplots. It's an extravaganza, and nothing is off limits in Lucas's final Star Wars live action film.
We also rank the entire Star Wars saga and discuss which movies are at the top of the list, and which are towards the bottom. Listen in, you might be surprised!
If you enjoy our show, please leave us positive feedback on iTunes. We really appreciate it, and it helps new people find us. If you'd like to give us your feedback on the show, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let yourself be

Guess who's back? Back again? It's Remember When, so tell a friend!
We kick off the show by talking about Tombstone. The listeners voted, and the "legendary" Western is this week's pick for Great Movies Jay Has Never Seen, barely eking out a win against Animal House.
But what does Jay think about this "legendary" movie? Did it change his life? Will he hate it? Tune into the show to find out.
Due to time constraints, the Episode III discussion is being postponed. Hey, you didn't want us to skimp on the High Ground discussion, did you? Instead, we talk about some of the shows and movies we're watching right now. Parris has a new appreciation for a sitcom, and Jay's feeling the love for Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Like our show? Have some feedback? Just want our opinion on something? Email us at email@example.com and tell us what you think!

Could it be? Remember When is back on track with two podcasts in as many weeks? Yes, that's right. We're back again with another heaping helping of Geeky Goodness to help get your week started off with a bang.
Jay's watched The Blues Brothers, and after going through this seminal experience, he sums up the entire movie in just a single word. What is it? How was the movie? Listen to the show to find out.
Parris and Jay also continue the Star Wars Prequels discussion with this week's installment, which focuses on Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Find out what we liked, what we hated, what shouldn't have been left on the cutting room floor, and what never should have been left in the film to begin with.
We're also putting the power of choice in your hands. Listen to the show for your chance to help pick which of four great movies Jay needs to watch next.
We love hearing your comments on the show, so please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to give us your thoughts and opinions. If you enjoy the show, please take a few seconds out of your day to leave us positive feedback on iTunes. It helps us reach more people, which will help keep the show going.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there was a show called Remember When. Well, we're back, and we've hit the ground running with Episode 10.
To kick off this week's show, we're talking about our current hotness: Season 7 of The Shield, which is currently running on FX. This powerhouse show is airing its final episodes, and as the show works towards its wrap up, we talk about the long and enjoyable journey that The Shield has offered, some of our thoughts on how it ends up (especially for Vic Mackey), and plot lines we'd like to see explored and completed before the ending.
Not a fan of The Shield? Then jump to the 31:00 mark in the show, when we bring you the long anticipated discussion that we promised you in Episode 8: Star Wars, the prequels. You've asked for it, you've been clamoring for it, you've sent us emails and private messages about it, and now it's finally here. We talk about the things that Lucas got right in The Phantom Menace (yes, there actually are some!), the things we disliked, and our experiences with the prequel series.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Star Wars discussion without a cliffhanger...
We'd like to thank all of the fans who sent us email and supportive notes during our hiatus. We really appreciate it! If you enjoy our show and we entertain you or make you laugh and smile, please take a few seconds and leave us feedback on iTunes. We really appreciate it! If you want to send us your thoughts on this episode, you can email us at email@example.com

In this episode of Remember When, Parris sits down with guest host JVB as they discuss Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon, Boyz in the Hood, Menace 2 Society, Breakin 1 & 2, Krush Groove, and House Party. They also reminisce about sneaking out of the house as teenagers, and their love for movies at an early age.
Thank you so much to the many listeners that have left us positive feedback on iTunes. Please keep the feedback love coming! If you'd like to send us a note, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you think!

You've asked for it. You've waited for it. You've sent us dozens of emails about it, wondering when it was coming. And now, after months of waiting, it's finally here.
Presenting Remember When's tribute to The Dark Knight. We've seen it, more than once. But did we love it? Listen to this week's show as we review what is arguably the best movie of the year.
We start out reviewing The Dark Knight, even going over some of the problems we feel could have been trimmed out of the movie. We analyze one of the best performances from an actor (ever), and talk about some of the jaw dropping moments where we almost needed a change of pants.
Of course, it's not Remember When without our tangents, so we stick to what we do best. We look back on the old Batman movies (even the Adam West one) and talk about why they're still relevant, even if they don't necessarily hold up over time. And yes, we even talk about how other comic book movies are going to be hurt because of The Dark Knight.
This episode is filled with spoilers, so if you haven't seen The Dark Knight yet, you might want to jump to 1:17:32 to get past the majority of our spoiler discussion as we start talking about older shows.
Thank you so much to the many listeners that have left us positive feedback on iTunes. Please keep the feedback love coming! If you'd like to send us a note, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com

Just because it's the weekend before E3 doesn't mean we're leaving our Remember When listeners in the dark. We proudly present Episode 7 of the geekiest podcast available.
We start off the show with a spoiler-y discussion on Wall-E (14:30 to 25:45) then jump into the focus of this episode: Mel Brooks. We spend the rest of the episode talking about three of Mel's classic films: Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, and Young Frankenstein. Don't worry, there's tangents galore here.
We also tangent off at the end of the show to talk about one of Jay's favorite franchises, Firefly (1:00:45).
Are you in the Los Angeles area? Would you like to come meet us and chat with us for a few minutes? We'll be at the Universal Citywalk on Thursday, July 17th from 8pm to 10pm. Come on out and say Hello, talk to us, and hang out.
If you dig the show, please take a few seconds and help us by leaving a review on iTunes, so that we can reach more people. And if you'd like to let us know what you think, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org!

The fantastic summer movie season continues, and we kick off Episode Six with a tangent. Hey, better to get them out of the way early, right?
Jay's got a special surprise for Parris, which leads to a discussion about a recent movie (10:00 to 29:40).
The rest of the show is dedicated to John Hughes' career. Jay watched Sixteen Candles and Weird Science and gives us his opinions on them. Parris talks about his crush from Ferris Bueller, and our opinions on the rest of the John Hughes movies.
Episode Seven is being dedicated to Mel Brooks' movies, so be sure and check us out in a few weeks.
Did you enjoy this show? If so, please leave us feedback on iTunes, or send us a note at email@example.com and let yourself be heard!

The summer movie season has kicked off, and it seems only fitting that our new show is dedicated to one of the quintessential adventure franchises: Indiana Jones.
We start off with our discussion on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the latest release in the Indiana Jones series. After almost 20 years, is Indiana Jones still awesome? We also talk about the rest of the Indiana Jones series, our favorite moments, and the parts we just really hated. If you're looking to avoid spoilers for Crystal Skull, fast forward to 21:20, when most of the spoilers are out of the way.
... wait, that's not enough? OK, we'll throw in a few tangents for you!
Jay watched The Iron Giant, but did he like it?
We also talk about one of the quintessential comedy films from the last 10 years (we won't spoil the name for you).
Parris gives us his crazy (but good) theory on who the Final Cylon is in Battlestar Galactica.
The season finale for Lost comes up, with a spoiler filled discussion as well. (52:00 to 1:13:20)

In this special episode, which was captured during a recent recording of UncleGamer Live, we offer up an impromptu Live chat for Remember When. After we finished the UncleGamer show, Parris and I took calls from some of our listeners asking about recent show topics and our movie interests. It was a fun chance to connect with our listeners, and we hope you enjoy it.
This endeavor is being considered for a future segment, where we'd do a 'real' Live show with anyone able to participate. So please, send us your comments at email@example.com and let us know what you think!

Our third episode kicks off with Jay's opinions on Caddyshack. Yes, he finally sat down and watched it. What was his take on it? Find out at the start of the show.
We also had a chance to see the new release of Iron Man this past weekend. Does Marvel's newest superhero flick live up to expectations? We also tangent off into a discussion about the upcoming cavalcade of summer movies, and the awesome releases coming over the next few months (as well as the less-than-awesome ones)
The new trailers for The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls debuted this week, and we geek out over each of them.
As a cautionary note, the Iron Man discussion contains a ton of spoilers for the movie. If you haven't seen it yet, skip from the start of the discussion to the 35:15 mark, which places you outside of the spoiler blast radius.
We really appreciate our listeners, and if you enjoy our show, we hope you'll take 60 seconds out of your day and leave us a positive review on iTunes. Also, if you want to give us your feedback, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

This is a special edition release, available exclusively to subscribers of our RSS feed.
In this special episode, released as part of the Gamercast Network's GTA IV launch, we're talking about the legacy of Superman movies. Yes, even the god awful Superman III and IV releases. You might want to forget all about those bogus storylines, but we're here to tell you: You are not alone. We all hate those pieces of crap.
We also talk about the long-awaited Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut release, the travesty that was the cinematic release of Superman II, and give you a helpful tip to help make Superman Returns a better movie.

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Remember When, the geek podcast spin-off of UncleGamer Radio!
In this 'pilot' episode, we talk about Battlestar Galactica's spectacular run (and the hiccups in season three), The Shield vs. The Office, and Jay's naivety towards Caddyshack. We've got some great tangent moments in here, so if you loved the geekouts on UncleGamer, you'll enjoy this!
