As the turkey brings your body to a sleepy conclusion on Thanksgiving, why not relax and unwind with the latest episode of Remember When?

Our Arnold Schwarzenegger series continues in Episode 26, as we sit down and reminisce about The Running Man. The Governator goes head to head against the ultimate pimp of game shows, giving us one of the cheesiest pieces of 80's film you could ever imagine.

Next, Jay takes a look at Predator, another fine piece of cinema he's never been exposed to before. Two governors go head to head against an extraterrestrial poacher that leaves a stream of bodies in its wake. A veritable cult classic, Jay looks on with fresh eyes at one of the more notable Arnie movies. Will he enjoy it in the spirit it's offered, or declare that its expiration date has long past?

Then we tangent off as Parris takes a look back on a recent movie, giving it a renewed opinion now that he's taken away a home viewing. The resulting conversation nearly has Jay falling over in shock.

Episode 25 brings you the first half of our Arnold Schwarzenegger bonanza. We take a look back on the Governator's film history, reminisce fondly about some of his greatest film moments, and laugh hysterically at some of his less than stellar moments.

It all starts with Conan The Barbarian, one of Arnold's early performances. It's the latest in the line of Great Movies Jay Has Never Seen, but as the film creeps up on its 30 year anniversary, will it stand the test of time? Will the 80's cheese fest and excessive use of loin cloths make Jay turn up his nose in disgust, or will Parris see another victory over one of his beloved pieces of film history? After a brief and unintentional break in our regularly scheduled program, Remember When is back in style!

We kick off the show by commemorating the passing of one of the more notable actors from the 80's, Patrick Swayze. Sure, he's not a "classical" actor, but he was certainly a fixture in movies during the decade of punk rock and Members Only jackets. We start by talking about one of his campier and more memorable films, Red Dawn, and then move into Point Break, the latest entry in Great Movies Jay Has Never Seen.

Quentin Tarantino's latest cinema opus, Inglorious Basterds, serves as Act Two. Parris and Jay have both seen it, but is it any good? And will Jay be able to appreciate a Tarantino film for once? Listen in and find out.

Finally, we cap off the show with a look at what we're watching in the Fall TV season (and what you should be watching, too). A long-awaited wedding left us impressed, a troupe of kids in high school singing about their woes held surprises for us, and a mockumentary focusing on three different families reminds us that sitcoms aren't dead.

And so we come to the final stop in our Matrix saga. After weeks of waiting in limbo, due to our hectic scheduling issues, we sit down and rip apart The Matrix Revolutions, a movie that's certainly ripe for the picking. We're focusing the entire episode on the final film in the Wachowski Brothers series... and boy, do we give it a tongue lashing.

We talk about the many missed opportunities in the script, the inconsistencies within the story, the plot holes big enough to drive the Nebercanezer through, and the terrible, terrible, terrible dialog. And that's just what happens in the first 10 minute of the podcast. For a movie like Revolutions, we offer no quarter, even if we do have a few guilty pleasures moments.

There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. And with that in mind, we bring you Episode 19 of Remember When, which focuses on the Terminator franchise.

Jay and Parris both had a chance to see Terminator: Salvation during its opening weekend, and had a lot to say about this new take on the popular sci-fi franchise. What's the verdict on Christian Bale, or the sudden jump to the future? Does the movie hold up? Grab the show and give it a listen if you want to find out.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Matrix rundown to bring you an impromptu episode of Remember When.

Parris and Jay just got done watching the latest Star Trek movie, helmed by J.J. Abrams, and this episode was recorded on a spur of the moment lark, before either of us had a chance to discuss our thoughts. What results is the freshest voicing of opinions, before we've had a chance to prepare ourselves.

Part new territory, part reboot, and part time travel, the latest film in this beloved franchise has a lot riding on it. But is this the true Phoenix risen from the ashes, or does it fall flat on its face? We've got differences of opinion across the board here, with the two of us on opposite ends of the spectrum on quite a few points.

This episode is filled with spoilers from the new Star Trek movie, so make sure you've had a chance to see the film in theaters before listening to this episode.

Jay and Parris are back, and we're here with Episode 13 of Remember When!

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there was a show called Remember When. Well, we're back, and we've hit the ground running with Episode 10.

To kick off this week's show, we're talking about our current hotness: Season 7 of The Shield, which is currently running on FX. This powerhouse show is airing its final episodes, and as the show works towards its wrap up, we talk about the long and enjoyable journey that The Shield has offered, some of our thoughts on how it ends up (especially for Vic Mackey), and plot lines we'd like to see explored and completed before the ending.

A better class of criminal

You've asked for it. You've waited for it. You've sent us dozens of emails about it, wondering when it was coming. And now, after months of waiting, it's finally here.

Presenting Remember When's tribute to The Dark Knight. We've seen it, more than once. But did we love it? Listen to this week's show as we review what is arguably the best movie of the year.

We start out reviewing The Dark Knight, even going over some of the problems we feel could have been trimmed out of the movie. We analyze one of the best performances from an actor (ever), and talk about some of the jaw dropping moments where we almost needed a change of pants.

Of course, it's not Remember When without our tangents, so we stick to what we do best. We look back on the old Batman movies (even the Adam West one) and talk about why they're still relevant, even if they don't necessarily hold up over time. And yes, we even talk about how other comic book movies are going to be hurt because of The Dark Knight.

The summer movie season has kicked off, and it seems only fitting that our new show is dedicated to one of the quintessential adventure franchises: Indiana Jones.

We start off with our discussion on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the latest release in the Indiana Jones series. After almost 20 years, is Indiana Jones still awesome? We also talk about the rest of the Indiana Jones series, our favorite moments, and the parts we just really hated. If you're looking to avoid spoilers for Crystal Skull, fast forward to 21:20, when most of the spoilers are out of the way.

... wait, that's not enough? OK, we'll throw in a few tangents for you!

Jay watched The Iron Giant, but did he like it?

We also talk about one of the quintessential comedy films from the last 10 years (we won't spoil the name for you).

Parris gives us his crazy (but good) theory on who the Final Cylon is in Battlestar Galactica.

Our third episode kicks off with Jay's opinions on Caddyshack. Yes, he finally sat down and watched it. What was his take on it? Find out at the start of the show.

We also had a chance to see the new release of Iron Man this past weekend. Does Marvel's newest superhero flick live up to expectations? We also tangent off into a discussion about the upcoming cavalcade of summer movies, and the awesome releases coming over the next few months (as well as the less-than-awesome ones)

The new trailers for The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls debuted this week, and we geek out over each of them.

As a cautionary note, the Iron Man discussion contains a ton of spoilers for the movie. If you haven't seen it yet, skip from the start of the discussion to the 35:15 mark, which places you outside of the spoiler blast radius.
